Stefan Randstrom is a Swedish Finn who moved to Toronto in 1995. An awarding-winning journalist and globe-trotting director of photography, his skill set is an eclectic mix of marathon running, cold water surfing and an ability to go to extremes to get the perfect shot.
Karen MacKenna is a Vancouver-born writer and filmmaker who came to Toronto to pursue a career in public broadcasting and independent film. After meeting Stefan in 1995, she fell in love with Finland and Finnish design, and when she is not working on a Hoppa project, she is writing articles for Finnish tourism.
We are a husband and wife filmmaking team with more than twenty years in the business of storytelling.
